OVERVIEW
This role leads the planning and execution of trenchless construction projects, specifically Microtunneling and Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while upholding safety and quality standards. The Project Manager collaborates closely with field Superintendents and cross-functional teams to supervise all project phases—from initiation to completion—across various sites throughout the United States.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 7 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on Microtunneling and/or HDD
Willingness and ability to travel across multiple states and work on jobsite locations, including overnight stays
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
Proficiency in Office 365, CAD, Microsoft Project or Primavera, Heavy Job, Viewpoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Proven ability to manage budgets, track project expenses, and mitigate risks
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage tight deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across diverse stakeholders, including engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
Strong project documentation and reporting skills
Background in safety management and compliance on construction sites
