Refrigeration Technician

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Handle natural and synthetic refrigerants such as CO₂, HFCs, and ammonia safely and professionally.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on-site efficiently.
• Commission new refrigeration systems, ensuring proper function and accurate documentation.
• Provide clients with guidance and advice on system operation and maintenance best practices.
• Comply with all safety protocols, environmental standards, and F-gas regulations.
• Participate in on-call duty rotations as required.
• Maintain and manage company equipment, including vans, tools, and mobile devices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical education at MBO-level or equivalent in refrigeration, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Valid F-gas certification (Category 1) mandatory.
• Proven work experience with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of ammonia, CO₂, or propane refrigeration systems is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license (Category B) required.
• Excellent communication and client support skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
