Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Refrigeration Technician to join their technical team. This role is best suited for a hands-on, technically strong candidate with solid experience working on large-scale refrigeration equipment.
Our client operates within the Electrical and Refrigeration sector, delivering installation, maintenance, and repair services across residential, commercial, and industrial environments, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
Location: Mokopane
Salary: R25,000 – R35,000 per month

Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 16:00
Every second weekend on standby
Installation of refrigeration and cooling systems
Routine maintenance to ensure efficiency and safety
Fault finding and repair of mechanical and electrical issues
Monitoring system performance and energy efficiency
Compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
Providing professional customer service and technical guidance
Accurate record keeping of work completed and parts used
Safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment
Completed and verified trade qualification / trade test
Minimum 3 years’ hands-on refrigeration experience, especially with large-scale equipment
National Senior Certificate (or equivalent)
Verified Trade Test (Refrigeration / Electrician or related)
Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and cycles
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Uitvoer van gereelde instandhouding om veilige en doeltreffende werking te verseker
Diagnose en herstel van meganiese en elektriese foute
Monitering van stelselprestasie en energie-doeltreffendheid
Verseker nakoming van gesondheids-, veiligheids- en regulatoriese vereistes
Professionele kliëntediens en tegniese advies
Akkurate rekordhouding van werk, onderdele en instandhoudingskedules
Gebruik en instandhouding van gereedskap en toerusting
Voltooide en geverifieerde trade kwalifikasie / trade test
Minimum 3 jaar praktiese ervaring in verkoeling, spesifiek met groot industriële toerusting
Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat (of ekwivalent)
Geverifieerde Trade Test (bv. Refrigeration / Electrician / verwant)
Sterk tegniese kennis van verkoelingsiklusse, koelmiddels en termodinamika
Goeie probleemoplossings- en kliëntediensvaardighede
Vlot in Afrikaans en Engels
