We provide professional services to some of the region’s biggest asset owners including Wollongong City Council, University of Wollongong, Nan Tien Temple, and various privately held assets.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive, technically strong engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

– Providing regular, professional, and friendly communication with our valued clients.

– Undertaking site inspections, collecting measurements using appropriate instrumentation, applying sound problem-solving skills, and prescribing effective remediation methodologies.

– Preparing accurate, high-quality site reports.

– Managing subcontractors and trade service providers as required.

– Maintaining and updating weekly project programs.

– Liaising with key stakeholders, including property owners, councils, and utility authorities.

– Fulfilling WHS responsibilities in line with our Safety Management System.

– Managing higher-order remedial scopes/specifications for Class 1, 2, and 3 buildings, as well as community precinct projects—covering both new construction and modifications to existing structures.

– Preparing project briefs and fee proposals.

– Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team environment.

– Some Interstate travel may be required.

– Mentoring and supporting junior staff.

– Assist Executive Team as required.

About You

– Candidates should be diligent project managers with great interpersonal skills, some understanding of Engineering Consulting work and have a good level of technical knowledge and know-how.

– Track record for managing timeframes and budgets for complex Civil, Structural and Remedial Engineering projects of $10k to $3 million+ consulting value.

– A self-motivated, technically capable Project Manager who can work independently while contributing effectively within a team.

– Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal communication and high-quality report writing skills.

– Preferred experience with software packages such as Google Workspaces, Jira Software.

– Valid Australian Drivers License and White Card.

– Full working rights in Australia.
