Renewables Origination Working Student (m/f/d) - 20 hours/week, on-site

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Renewables Origination Working Student to support our commercial origination team in identifying, tracking, and developing renewable energy opportunities. You will play a key role in enhancing data quality, improving commercial workflows, and supporting deal development through effective use of Salesforce and market research.

This working student role offers hands-on exposure to the fast-growing renewable energy sector, working alongside experienced originators, analysts, and commercial managers.

Key tasks:

• Salesforce & CRM: Maintain and ensure the accuracy and quality of customer data, including updating, verifying, and enriching information in the database.
• Pricing Request Support: Coordinate and prepare pricing requests for potential and existing customers, including assisting with data analysis to support well-informed offers.
• Data Preparation: Gather, organise, and prepare static and production data (energy data) from customers for offer creation and contract discussions.
• Contract Preparation: Contribute to drafting and structuring contracts based on customer information and agreed requirements.
• Operational / Administrative Tasks: Contribute to the Origination team’s day-to-day work, including improving processes, creating reports, and completing organisational tasks.

About You

We welcome applicants who are curious, engaged, and interested in learning and contributing within a dynamic environment, particularly in the commodities space.

The following education, and skills are essential for application:

• Enrolled student in industrial engineering and management, computer science, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Interest in the renewable energy sector (e.g., wind and solar) and in working within an international environment.
• Ability to manage tasks with reliability and autonomy.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in English and German at a business level.
• Clear communication skills and a cooperative approach to teamwork.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system is a plus.
