Rigging Supervisor

Scope: Supervising the installation of structural steel on a major building project
Duration: December – February (3-month project, potential extension)
Start: ASAP
Rate: $60/hr + Super

We are seeking an experienced Rigging Supervisor to lead a small rigging crew on a high-profile construction project in the Perth CBD. You will oversee the safe and efficient installation of structural steel, working closely with crane operators and site management. This position is available for an immediate start, with the potential for ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a 3–4 person rigging crew on a busy construction site.
• Lead all rigging and lifting operations for structural steel installation.
• Inspect, set up, and manage rigging gear including slings, chains, and shackles.
• Direct crane operators during lifts to ensure safe, accurate positioning.
• Oversee the alignment, placement, and securing of steel members during installation.
• Ensure full safety compliance, including White Card requirements, JHAs/SWMS, and maintaining exclusion zones.
• Support efficient daily workflow, task allocation, and problem-solving on site.

  
Requirements

• High Risk Work Licence – Intermediate or Advanced Rigging (RI or RA).
• White Card.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Proven experience working on a construction site.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Available to start immediately and commit to the full project duration.
