Burchills Engineering Solutions is growing our Brisbane team and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead a diverse range of development projects, from boutique infill to major master planned communities, industrial, renewables and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, manage and deliver civil engineering projects from concept design through to construction.

• Lead design of earthworks, roads, stormwater, water and sewer infrastructure.

• Oversee and review technical reports, design documentation, and project correspondence.

• Collaborate with clients, councils, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Manage budgets, timelines, and project resources with primary accountability for project delivery and financial health.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior staff to support their development and career growth.

• Support business development through proposal writing, client relationships and doing a great job to secure repeat work.

About You:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (RPEQ or working towards RPEQ highly regarded).

• 7+ years’ experience in civil design, project delivery, and stakeholder coordination.

• Strong understanding of Queensland private development and local authority standards & approvals processes.

• Proven ability to manage multiple design projects at once and deliver high-quality outcomes, on time and on budget.

• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused, long-term client-partnership mindset.

• Enjoys working in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

• Values aligned with teamwork, quality solutions, doing what we say, achieving results, and always improving.

• Understanding of civil design software highly regarded (e.g. 12D, AutoCAD, DRAINS, MUSIC).
