iParametrics is seeking a senior-level Construction Project Manager to support a major federal program based in Washington, D.C. This position provides leadership and oversight during all project phases—design, construction, and closeout—on large-scale government projects ranging from $25M to $100M+. This role requires daily onsite presence in Washington, D.C.
Oversee validation of materials and products per specifications
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with documentation and quality standards
Manage on-site inspections and coordinate with General Contractors on testing and stakeholder meetings
Lead project document control, including review of status reports, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Provide field engineering support and oversee MEP/CSA inspection coordination
Support project controls, including cost tracking, schedule reviews, and budget management
Lead the change management process and support contractor/vendor evaluations
Manage pay applications and verify off-site stored materials (insurance and documentation)
Ensure permitting, feasibility, and constructability review of design documents
Enforce critical path scheduling and participate in stakeholder meetings
Review punch lists, verify completion, and recommend substantial completion
Support closeout activities and maintain daily on-site project presence
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or related field
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in construction management (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience: Proven background managing construction budgets
Certification/License: Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Records review
Requirement: U.S. Citizenship (required due to federal contract work)
Education: Master’s degree in Construction Management or related discipline
Experience: Previous leadership experience with strong team management skills
Experience: Experience working with District of Columbia or Federal government entities
Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CPM scheduling and construction/project management software
Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulations and construction quality standards
Skill: Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
Location: Based in the D.C. Metro area
