Right to Information Team SafeWork NSW

Information Team is responsible for overseeing SafeWork NSW’s statutory
responsibilities under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act). The GIPA Act establishes a proactive, more open approach to
gaining access to government information in New South Wales. The team
operate in a high volume, fast paced and frontline structured environment, to
facilitate the review and determination of applications made under the GIPA
Act. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, well-established
team, who are passionate about applying the relevant legislations and promoting
open government. Your
responsibilities will include Reporting to
the Manager of Right to Information, this role is an integral part of the
leadership group within the Right to Information team. As a Senior Coordinator,
you will provide leadership and technical guidance to staff, to ensure sound
and compliant decision making under the GIPA Act. The role will also manage
complex requests for information and lead best practice delivery of services,
including developing and maintaining processes and procedures and delivering
training programs across SafeWork NSW. About you What we
