Summary: The project manager role is responsible for coordinating the activities of resources within the Information Technology department. They will hold the master schedule of activities and tasks associated with medium to large projects that involve IT resources. Examples of these projects would be dealership construction/renovation, software and/or hardware replacement and upgrades, major events involvement, dealership acquisitions. Their involvement would provide greater control over resource allocation and usage to ensure delivery timelines are met.
Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no direct supervisory responsibilities, however as the holder of project scheduling dates and times, their ability to allocate resources in a timely fashion is critical to departmental success.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 2 years Project Management experience; or 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5-10 years experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions. Strong phone and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to communicate with key managers and other executive level employees within dealerships and at the management company.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to comprehend and solve complex problems based on logical conclusions instead of information provided by those that may be less knowledgeable.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Driver’s License
PMP certification required.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have significant experience in the IT field and a broad technical knowledge.
Individuals in this position are expected to be able to lead teams on complex projects over long periods of time while simultaneously ensuring that day-to-day operations are running smoothly.
Environment/Physical Demands
Duties are performed primarily in an office environment. Significant travel may be required.
