About The Company 

Our client has been established in the Boat Building & Maintenance Industry for over 30 years servicing vessels of all types in and around the Sydney basin. They offer a variety of boat-building services including repairs, customisation, installations and fit outs. Working on all model boats - sailing and power. Working with all associated marine trades, for example. Mechanics, electricians, trimmers, and fabricators. Taking on full project management.

About The Opportunity

As a key member of their expert crew, you’ll be hands-on in delivering premium work across a diverse fleet. This role offers variety, challenge, and the chance to hone your skills across a broad spectrum of marine projects.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• General boat building
• Structural repairs and painting
• Timber and fibreglass work
• Through hull installations
• Internal fit outs
• Gelcoat repairs
• Custom moulding
• Teak Decks
• Engine and running gear fit ups.

About You 

The successful candidate will be a qualified shipwright/ marine craft construction with at least 2 years of experience (preferred)

Additionally, you will have:

• Reliable transport
• Car and boat licence
• Basic hand tools
• The ability to work as part of a team
• A true passion for producing high-quality work
• Presentable
