Requisitos

We are seeking experienced Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) with backend development skills to join our SRE team as contractors. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing the reliability of modern cloud-native applications hosted on AWS.

You’ll work closely with Product Owners and Engineering Teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and services through proactive monitoring and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure services meet defined Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor uptime and performance metrics
• Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive postmortems
• Develop and maintain runbooks and escalation procedures.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Build internal tools to improve team productivity and system reliability.
• Work closely with development, product owners, and operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent real-world experience
• 7+ years of hands-on SRE or backend development experience.
• Deep understanding of cloud GCP (AWS and Azure are a plus).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or Bashe
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Gitlab, CircleCI)
• Ability to work closely with development teams, product owners, and DevOps.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have

Experience with:

• Google Cloud Certification.
• Terraforms
• CI/CD Pipelines. Familiarity with Jenkins.
