Sr. SDET With Playwright

Total Experience: 6–10 years 
Location: Pune, Hadapsar, Magarpatta City  
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days in office per week 

Mandatory Skills: Hands on experience on Playwright and good communication skills 

About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced SDET with strong expertise in both automation and functional testing. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, hands-on experience in Playwright, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform end-to-end functional and automation testing across electron based applications.  
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks. 
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business teams to understand requirements. 
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports. 
• Ensure high-quality releases through regression testing, integration testing, and performance validation. 
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 6–10 years of strong experience in SDET (both automation + functional). 
• 2+ years of experience with Playwright (mandatory). 
• Strong programming experience in JavaScript or TypeScript (at least one required). 
• Experience developing automation frameworks and scripts from scratch. 
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). 
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication skills. 

Good To Have Skills: 

• Strong knowledge of using AI tools for testing and automation development. Eg: Copilot, Cursor.
