Main Activities and Responsibilities
Reporting organisationally to the Head of Human Rights, the Sustainability and Human Rights Venue Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 SHR team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA SHR team and other key individuals responsible for delivering SHR programs and services at their FWC26 Venue. 

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Sustainability and Human Rights Venue Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:  
  • Provide Sustainability and Human Rights advice and support to all Functional Areas
  • Coordinate awareness activations at the venue
  • Document best practices and lessons learned related to Sustainability and Human Rights
  • Manage the Sustainability and Human Rights team at the venue
  • Assist with incident liaison for any Safeguarding complaints raised in Stadiums
  • Act as On-site liaison for any sustainability and human rights suppliers, contractors, or visitors
  • Inspect the venue for accessibility service gaps and coordinate solutions with relevant Functional Areas 
  • Assist with in-stadium incident triage efforts 
  • Represent SHR function at venue meetings and planning


Your Profile
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in social sciences, inclusive design, human rights, equality, diversity and/or international relations 
  • Equivalent professional experience in sustainability, human rights, ESG, major events, or compliance roles will be considered.

Work Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience working on social issues.  
  • Practical work familiarity with SHR issues    
  • Project management experience 
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines 
  • Skilled written and verbal communicator 


Language
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus

Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
