SW Development Project Manager

Job Description

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a SW Development Project Manager to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

This role will be leading Agile software development teams through the SDLC to ensure timely project delivery, meeting legislative and strategic priorities. The role requires strong leadership in Agile project management, preferably in education, and involves overseeing project staff and collaborating with various stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with software application teams using SDLC, PMLC, and Agile Scrum methodology
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with the following:
  • Power BI
  • Data Lake

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and evaluate processes to ensure consistent adherence, manage scope and schedule changes, and develop project budgets and plans.
• Monitor and measure application quality, identify improvement measures, and ensure deliverables meet agreements and budget constraints.
• Communicate with stakeholders, solicit feedback, and build strong relationships.
• Manage problems, resolve issues, identify and mitigate risks, and motivate the team to take ownership and improve efficiency.
• Articulate the application and technology roadmap, coordinate project initiation and planning to meet strategic commitments.
• Consistently produces high-quality work within expected timelines.
• Demonstrate sound judgement and continued benefits for the agency.
• Communicate to achieve the desired actions and strengthen relationships.
• Use feedback, data, and self-reflection to inform own work.
• Drives own work and seeks opportunity to influence improvements for the agency.
