Task Order Project Manager

NexGen Data Systems is seeking an experienced Task Order Project Manager to serve as the Project Manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Participate in the government’s kick-off meeting and articulate plans to manage scope, contractors, schedule, and the execution of task areas. This includes the coordination of on/offboarding contractors, reporting, training and timely submission of deliverables. 
• The Task Order Project Manager will ensure schedules are developed and meet the government’s needs for the contracted employees. 
• The Task Order Project Manager will ensure deliverables, training, reporting, and tasks are completed timely and accurately. 
• The Task Order Project Manager will coordinate invoices and reporting with the COR to ensure reports are reviewed and approved prior to invoicing.

Desired/Required Skills:

• Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance required.
• MUST HAVE PMP and IA Level: IAM-III DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III Relevant CCP Certification from Google, AWS, OCI, or Microsoft Azure
• Certification: Must have Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.) 
• Five (5) years’ relevant experience and 5 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
• Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts or four (4) additional years of related experience required.
• Five (5) years relevant experience and 5 years of leadership experience
• Extensive experience supporting Technical Task Orders.
