Technical Project Manager

Clearance: DoD Secret Clearance or above

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of flexible in-person performance at our Crystal City, VA or Reston, VA offices 2x per week.

We seek a Technical Project Manager to support a client in a Hybrid capacity (visiting Crystal City or Reston twice a week).

Oversee and direct all day-to-day performance and customer engagement requirements for Department of the Navy digital modernization efforts. This critical role will be instrumental in the transition to a Government Owned/Government Operated/Contractor Supported (GOGOCS) model for Navy networks. The individual must coordinate activities with the designated CO Government POC and provide regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Programmatic & Technical Leadership: Oversee and direct all day-to-day performer personnel and serve as the government's point of contact for agreement oversight, management, and guidance.
• Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate activities with the designated CO Government POC and provide required weekly concise email updates.
• Flank Speed Edge Implementation: Assist with global enterprise installation efforts for Flank Speed Edge.
• Enterprise Architecture Support: Provide enterprise architectural support to assist the GOGOCS transition.
• DevSecOps & Automation: Drive the implementation and operationalization of modern capabilities, including leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) to accelerate provisioning and implementation. Integrate CaC scripts into enterprise DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Security & Zero Trust: Ensure solutions align with zero-trust principles, including assisting with the transition to Microsoft Defender for Cloud and integrating with Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM).
• Strategic Alignment: Perform stakeholder analysis and update the Enterprise Strategy in support of PEO Digital/DON.

Education: Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines, project mI neeanagement, or a related field is preferred.

Required Qualifications:   

• Mandatory Technical Leadership: Proven experience overseeing and directing day-to-day technical personnel.
• Required Reporting & Communication: Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities with a Government POC and provide consistent, concise updates.
• DON/Defense Experience: Background in mission-critical environments, specifically related to the Department of the Navy (DON).
• Cloud & Security Expertise: Proficiency in concepts related to enterprise security architecture, cloud security models, and zero-trust architecture (ZTA) end state. Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel is a plus.
• Automation & Agile: Strong understanding of automation, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC). Experience integrating CaC scripts into enterprise DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines is essential.
