Preliminary Scope of Project: Migration of servers, hardware and software upgrades for the Missouri Department of Social Services

About the Role: As the IT Project Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between Briljent and the Missouri Department of Social Services. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful migration of hardware, software, and servers while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and budgeted delivery of agreed-upon initiatives.
  • Develop or refine an existing IT Project plan for the server migration project.
  • Deliver regular program progress updates to state leadership and senior executives.
  • Drive the project plan to completion, collaborating closely with state employees, MMIS providers, third parties, and internal team members.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to identify and resolve risks and issues effectively.
  • Coordinate the allocation of resources efficiently.  
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide program management leadership for multiple concurrent projects, establishing pragmatic delivery and integrated implementation plans with project resources.
  • Adhere to PMO best practices, standards, and frameworks.
  • Lead and communicate the project scope, goals, and responsibilities clearly to various project teams.
  • Set clear expectations and engagement models for project sponsors and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and successfully completing technical IT implementations.
  • PMP certification is required
  • Proven track record in managing large, enterprise-scale projects with complexity.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role within the government healthcare sector.
  • Preferred background in Claims and Medicaid Program Management.
  • Solid experience in full scope project management.
  • Thorough understanding of PMO, SDLC, and governance best practices.
  • Ability to apply project management methodologies effectively and enforce project standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making abilities.
