About Us:
DataStealth is a Data Security Platform (DSP) that allows organizations to discover, classify, and protect their most sensitive data and documents, ensuring that sensitive data and documents are secure and that they meet applicable privacy, regulatory, governance and compliance requirements.

We are one of the world's leading and fastest growing cybersecurity software companies. Our team is the best in the business. Our patented software provides our large enterprise customers with the ability to solve complex data security problems with paradigm shifting technology that can actually solve problems.

If being at the helm of it excites you, and you desire to be an expert and educator in an ever-changing environment, then this is the job for you!

Role Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of complex, technical projects. You will serve as the bridge between our customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, timely delivery, and adherence to project scope. While you don’t need to code, you will need a solid understanding of technical concepts to effectively manage expectations, relay technical requirements, and make informed decisions when necessary.

In this role, you will take an active, hands-on approach to managing projects and facilitating their completion, from initiation to delivery. You will be responsible for creating and managing project documentation (including PID, checkpoint reports, and lessons logs), tracking progress, removing obstacles, and holding both internal and external teams accountable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of technical projects, ensuring all milestones are met, risks are mitigated, and issues are proactively addressed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and customers. You must be able to understand and ask the right technical questions to ensure customer requirements are captured accurately.
  • Project Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including the Project Initiation Document (PID), checkpoint reports, and lessons log. Ensure that all documentation reflects the progress and decisions made during the project lifecycle.
  • Scope & Change Management: Manage project scope, ensuring that any proposed changes are assessed, documented, and communicated clearly with the necessary follow-up and approval. Ensure that scope creep is minimized and managed effectively.
  • Schedule & Budget Management: Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Provide regular reporting to both internal teams and clients on project progress, challenges, and budget adherence.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and issues, and take steps to resolve them quickly. Escalate when needed, but always be focused on removing barriers to project success.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Infrastructure, Implementation and customer-facing teams to ensure that all project components are delivered on schedule and meet the required quality standards.
  • Accountability: Hold both internal and external teams accountable for their deliverables. Ensure that actions are taken, follow-ups are done, and any delays or missed deadlines are addressed quickly.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience of 3+ years as a Project Manager in a technical environment, preferably within a scale-up.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, with a solid working knowledge of project management methodologies, including PID, checkpoint reports, lessons logs, and stage boundaries.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to relay technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders and ask the right questions to clarify requirements.
  • Experience with managing complex projects and holding both internal and external stakeholders accountable.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve conflicts or obstacles as they arise.
  • Ability to manage projects end-to-end, with hands-on involvement in every phase of the project lifecycle.
  • PRINCE2 foundation certification or equivalent.

Nice-to-Have:

  • PRINCE2 practitioner certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing technical enterprise-level software implementation projects.
