We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage information technology focused projects across various teams. This role will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of IT initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams, including security, engineering, HR, finance and operations, to implement and uphold the organization’s information technology and security posture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical IT and security projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives
- Utilize Agile methodologies (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum, Kanban) to plan, prioritize, and manage information technology projects, ensuring they integrate with ongoing Agile processes
- Drive agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and promote best practices in Agile/Lean environments
- Partner with cross-functional teams (security, engineering, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders) to identify requirements and ensure that technical solutions meet organizational needs
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with security and privacy standards
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to report on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring clear communication and transparency across teams
- Foster a security-first culture, educating teams on security best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance requirements
- Provide coaching and mentoring to project teams, ensuring alignment with Agile principles, security policies, and organizational goals
- Continuously monitor industry trends in information security and Agile practices, applying relevant insights to improve project processes and security outcomes
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity
- 5+ years of experience in managing technical projects, with a focus on information security and technology
- Proven experience managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously utilizing Agile methodologies (LeSS, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network security, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.), and risk management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of technologies such as cloud infrastructure, firewalls, endpoint protection and management, identity management, encryption, etc
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with security automation tools and DevSecOps practices
- Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, PMI-ACP, CSM, LeSS or similar) required
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and their associated security frameworks
