Do you want to be a part of shaping the future of renewable energy? Nordex Finland is looking for a Tender Manager to strengthen our Project Management team in the Nordics.

 

As a Tender Manager, you’ll take ownership of the strategy from the first tender through to project delivery. You’ll be at the heart of critical decision-making, from budgets and schedules to contract negotiations, ensuring that every aspect of the project is set up for success. Your expertise will ensure projects are not only competitive but executable as planned, and you’ll help guide them from proposal to execution.

 

We’re looking for a candidate with sufficient experience in a related technical field, ideally with exposure to renewable energy projects or similar complex environments. Wind power industry experience will be an advantage in this job.

 

You’ll be supported by three colleagues located in Helsinki and Uppsala, along with the team’s Group Lead in Helsinki. You’ll also collaborate closely with colleagues across departments and regions, as well as with our customers.

 

Our modern office is located in Ruoholahti, Helsinki. We work with a hybrid model, with two office days weekly, combining flexibility with strong team collaboration.

 

Your tasks include:

  • Develop execution strategies that shape projects from day one
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources to ensure success
  • Be part of the team in contract negotiations, ensuring smooth alignment with clients and stakeholders
  • Take lead in risk and opportunity management to keep projects on track
  • Ensure the smooth transition to execution with everything ready for the delivery phase

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in project execution or tender management, ideally in the energy sector
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to take ownership of key project elements
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, risk management, and contract negotiations
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Nordic region
  • Understanding of local regulations and legal requirements regarding construction works and Health, Safety and Environment
  • Fluency in English, Nordic language skills are a strong plus
