Job Description
Group Investment Banking provides the complete range of investment banking services which includes strategic advisory services, customized financial solutions and activities including mergers, acquisitions, corporate finance, leveraged finance and debt capital markets (loans and bonds). With offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Australia, USA, and UK, Group Investment Banking works closely with segment partners within the Group to provide holistic investment banking solutions to meet the diverse and cross-border needs of our customers as they expand in the region.
Loan Financing Group, part of Group Investment Banking, manages both the origination and distribution of loans. As part of the loans origination team, you will be working with the team leads on various fund raising efforts for wholesale clients across various geographical jurisdictions. Your work scope will include working on credit analyses, loans structuring and execution of loan market transactions across the region (with a focus on Southeast Asia) and globally where UOB has a market presence.

Responsibilities
Contribute to all tasks in the various phases of transaction origination and execution - from credit analysis, pitch preparation, term sheet preparation, loan structuring, documentation through to syndication and deal closing;
Conduct research, analyses, documentation and reports on selected companies and prepare presentation kits for use at client meetings;
Build and analyze financial models to analyze and measure the performance under different scenarios for debt transactions.
Requirements
Experience with working with or analyzing financial statements, financial modelling and ease of building and using excel worksheets;
Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure and tight deadlines;
Meticulous work with an attention to detail in work, writing and credit/financial analysis;
Strong sense of accountability with an inquisitive mind, good people skills, and high level of initiative;
An independent worker who is reliable , responsive and highly adaptable to changes;
A good Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.
Experience in originating loan transactions for corporates, commercial and other types of institutional clients; or/and
Experience in credit analyses or audit or accounting or corporate banking will be helpful
