Job Title: Millwright

Role Overview


Millwright required for FMCG manufacturing plant in Athlone. Responsible for fault-finding, preventative maintenance and breakdown support across mechanical, electrical and PLC systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fault finding and repair of electrical, mechanical and instrumentation equipment
  • Preventative maintenance to ensure maximum equipment uptime
  • Reduce production downtime through effective maintenance practices
  • Installation, inspection, adjustment and repair of machinery
  • PLC fault finding to I/O level
  • Maintain machine safety, control systems and housekeeping standards (5S)
  • Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately
  • Provide technical support and assist with continuous improvement initiatives
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Qualified Red Seal Millwright
  • Minimum 3–5 years post trade test experience, preferably in an FMCG environment
  • Computer literate
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Forklift licence (advantageous)
  • National Technical Diploma (advantageous)
