JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Project Manager who is part of the Sales Project Management Organization and is responsible for the Customer Project planning, delivery, execution, monitoring and controlling, performance, invoicing coordination and closing; all in collaboration with the customer PM and Internal Sales customer (KAM or SAM). The PM performs project completion using an external customer perspective of performance and quality, typically from bid initiation (RFP, RFQ) through acceptance at the customer site. The position is cross-functional and requires effective interaction and team building with Service, Sales, Product Marketing, Research& Development, Quality and Reliability, Global Customer Planning, Purchasing and Procurement, Operations Project Management and Product Engineering.

Responsibilities also include project proposals and plans to determine schedule, funding imitations, project feasibility and staffing requirements. The PM confers with functional leads to establish a project schedule and task assignments for each phase of the project, provides status reports, schedules and plans as required. The PM works with the team to autonomously resolve technical and business issues on site that arise before, during, and after the project, knowing when to elevate critical situations, and preparing project reports for presentation to senior  management/board.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Analyzes project plans and identifies issues and opportunities, root causes, lessons learned and
corrective actions in case of deviation;
· Organizes checkpoint meetings with key stakeholders and/or customers to ensure timely delivery and
identify, anticipate and mitigate risks.
· Collaborates with Level 2&3 support to schedule Special Products Requests (i.e. customized software)
· Ensures that the documentation required for the Customer is provided, the schedule of on-site
activities with Field Service Engineers is complete, and the verification of site readiness and material
availability is done prior to confirm installation.
· Owns full project life cycle: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to
deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5
years of project management or sales or services support experience in a
technical industrial environment. PMP certification is required. 

· 5+ years of project management or sales support experience in a technical environment;
· 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment;
· 1+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation;
· 3+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle.

 

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:
· Good understanding of project/program management techniques and methods;
· Good knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles;
· Good project leadership and organizational skill;
· Good communication skills & problem-solving abilities.
