Introduction

Our client, a company that provides secure and efficient payment and collection solutions for businesses of all sizes, is looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager.

You’ll lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic and operational projects within the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. You'll also help improve project practices and support the ongoing development of the PMO function.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and operational projects, ensuring alignment with scope, time, budget, and business objectives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and dependencies.
  • Implement structured project governance, including status reporting, decision-making forums, and change control.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies.
  • Track performance against KPIs and ensure full documentation and handover to operations.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and apply lessons learned to improve future delivery.

2. PMO Governance & Maturity

  • Apply and uphold Amplifin’s project management frameworks, tools, and standards across all projects.
  • Ensure consistent use of PMO templates, tools, and reporting practices for transparency and traceability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO practices and delivery methodologies.
  • Promote governance discipline and accountability across teams.
  • Support PMO maturity initiatives and collaborate with the PMO Lead to strengthen portfolio management capability.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Build strong relationships with business owners, IT, executive sponsors, and partners to ensure shared ownership and alignment.
  • Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of needs and constraints.
  • Establish structured communication channels (e.g., dashboards, status reports, issue logs).
  • Keep stakeholders informed of scope changes, risks, and progress to support timely decision-making.
  • Encourage feedback, support change readiness, and align project messaging with broader organisational communication.

4. Team Coordination & Resource Management

  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure the right expertise is aligned to project goals.
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities, fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Monitor resource utilisation, identify capacity gaps, and work with leaders to resolve constraints.
  • Promote a high-performance team culture through open communication, knowledge sharing, and mutual respect.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience

  • 5–7+ years of project management experience, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or
  • technology-enabled environments.
  • Strong familiarity with PMO structures and governance principles.
  • Proven experience delivering business and technology projects within structured
  • frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Confident communicator and facilitator, comfortable working across technical and
  • business teams.
  • Skilled in tools like Jira, MS Project, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive mindset.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
