Maintenance Planning / Project Manager

Job Description

Ogenus Offshore provides specialized manpower solutions to the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors, with a presence in both Greece and the UK. On behalf of our client, based in Turkey we are searching for a Maintenance Planning / Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for offshore operations, planning and managing planned maintenance activities
• Lead and coordinate the international maintenance planning team, ensuring alignment with operational requirements
• Collaborate closely with field teams, engineering, and technical departments to ensure smooth execution of maintenance planning processes
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and client expectations by continuously improving maintenance procedures
• Prepare maintenance reports, analyze data, and monitor performance indicators to propose improvement initiatives
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & project management applications
• Experience on planning and executing 5-yearly/SPS project for 6th Gen. UDW DS equipment
• Experience on maintaining 6th Gen. UDW DS equipment according to OEM, Class, IEC and other relevant standards
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong preference for deep-water Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) expertise. Drillship experience is desirable but not mandatory
• Proven track record of participation in project planning, execution, or refit operations, with examples of completed projects provided upon application
• Comprehensive understanding of Classification Society requirements, industry regulations, and HSE standards in the Oil and Gas sector
• Ability to obtain an Offshore Fitness for Work certificate and valid BOSIET and HUET certification prior to project commencement
• Valid medical fit to work report
• Leadership and management skills to manage and lead a team of expats towards successful project execution and delivery
• Deliver projects within the defined budget, timeline, and scope constraints
• Preparation of progress payments and follow-up of the processes
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, industry practices and all applicable regulations and relevant legislation
• Providing reports on the progress of the project and ensuring good communication with the client
• Ensuring communication between different disciplines in the maintenance planning project
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to avoid conflicts between operational activities and project schedules
• Create and track the issuance of requests for materials and services with detailed technical specifications
• Address quality and safety matters and escalate related issues promptly to the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Specialist
• Maintain comprehensive project reports in line with performance metrics, and organize project records, documentation, and certifications by assisting the Project Support Specialists with uploads into the Company’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Promote and enforce adherence to safe work systems and practices to mitigate risks for personnel and contractors
• Organising project meetings within the team, contributing to project objectives by providing routine progress and status updates
• Support budgeting and procurement processes by collaborating with the Supply-Chain Specialist
• Manage engineering-related issues using technical queries and ensure timely resolution
• Demonstrates integrity and accountability and remains calm under pressure
• Adaptable and resourceful, skilled at navigating challenges and finding solutions
• Focused on accuracy and achieving measurable outcomes
• Self-motivated, adaptable, well-organized, and able to work with minimal supervision
